Andrew Green
Andrew Green has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for over 15 years, in a variety of roles. Starting as a Medical Representative for Servier Laboratories in the north-east of England Andrew joined Pfizer UK as a Clinical Research Associate. Over the next 6-years he worked on projects in a variety of therapeutic areas including rheumatology, cardiovascular disease and CNS. After being field-based for a number of years he took the opportunity of a secondment in the newly opened UK Headquarters of Pfizer (Walton Oaks) as a strategic development analyst. With a acquisition of Pharmacia the opportunity arose to manage the non-promoted or ‘tail’ products and during this period a number of divestments (most notably Deltacortril, Elleste, Salazopyrin suspension and Sinequan) occurred. Following the formation of Business Units within Pfizer Andrew moved from a brief period in a European Established Products commercial role into his current role of Global Pricing & Market Access. Working across the Established Products and Emerging Markets portfolio this role has already encompassed a variety of products, geographies and challenges.
