Johanna Knospe
Johanna Knospe – a pharmacist by education with a doctorate degree in analytical chemistry - has about 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with in-depth expertise in corporate development including business development, licensing, merger & acquisitions, alliance management, business intelligence, strategic marketing and sales.
As of September 1, 2010 she is leading the business development function of Santen Pharmaceuticals in Europe and is a member of the European management board of Santen. She is based in Munich.
Prior to her current assignment with Santen she was leading the business unit women's health care products of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Germany and heading at the same time the business development and strategy function of Wyeth in Germany.
Formerly she worked with Daiichi in Tokyo and with Hoechst AG and its successor companies in Frankfurt and Bridgewater/ New Jersey.
