European PLG Meeting InterContinental Hotel, Vienna, Austria Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th September 2010 SPECIAL OFFER PLG are now offering a discount to any company that wish to send two or more delegates to the meeting. With this offer all delegates from the same company, based in the same country, will be able to register at the equivalent of the original Early Bird Discount rate of €825, a saving of €75 per delegate on the current registration fee of €900. EXTRA DRINKS RECEPTION ADDED As with all PLG meetings, an integral part of this meeting is to ensure plenty of time and opportunity for all guests to network. As well as an informal drinks reception and dinner for all meeting delegates on Thursday evening, we have increased the opportunities to network at this meeting by holding an extra drinks reception on Wednesday 22nd September, the evening prior to the official start of the meeting and we hope that many of you will be able to participate at this extra reception. PRE-EVENT DELEGATE CONTACT SYSTEM Following its successful introduction at the IX IPLS (Rome), the e-mail delegate contact system is already in place to facilitate making private arrangements to network with fellow delegates. Once registered you will be able to contact any other delegate to arrange private meetings prior to arrival at the meeting. Your contact details are kept private throughout the process The next European Pharma Licensing Group conference will take place on 23rd & 24th September 2010 in the beautiful and dynamic city of Vienna. Vienna, often described as Europe’s cultural capital, is host to many international organizations and famous for its outstanding musical history, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Johann Strauss were all residents. Experienced senior executives from a wide range of pharmaceutical companies are going to share their views on topics of high current interest such as strategies to overcome the tough economic environment by developing new markets, ways to provide cost effective medicines for third world diseases, new approaches to develop novel anti-infective drugs. There will be several workshops addressing issues of importance for the business development executives for their day-to-day work. PROGRAMME The event will take place over a day and half and contain 9 different workshops as well as 10 presentations. This year delegates will be able to attend all 9 workshops over 3 separate sessions. NETWORKING The programme leaves plenty of time to catch up with old, and meet new colleagues with a drinks reception followed by a networking dinner on Thursday night. The cost of this is included within your registration fee. ACCOMMODATION As with previous European PLG meetings, we have secured a group booking with discounted rates at the Intercontinental Hotel, Vienna. Bookings can be made for the nights of 22nd, 23rd & 24th September, but guests wishing to enjoy a weekend in Vienna should contact Adam Collins at NGA to organise extending their stay.
